USDA Posts FAQs Concerning Siluriformes Fish and Fish Product Inspection

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), has posted answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) on various topics related to processing and product inspection of siluriformes fish, including catfish. Topics include: Jurisdiction; Grant of Inspection/Approved Hours/On-site, Inspector Presence, Facilities Requirements, Labeling, Imports, Wild-Caught, Sampling, Pre-Harvest Requirements, and Transshipments.
