SBGA Accepting Entries for Landry Award

The Striped Bass Growers Association (SBGA) is accepting entries for the Walter Landry Memorial Award to be awarded to a student for outstanding achievements in research on any of the species in the Morone genus and/or Morone hybrids.  The award and a travel assistance of $250 will be presented at the SBGA Annual Meeting, which is being held in conjunction with Aquaculture America 2010 in San Diego, CA.

Entries should be submitted to “Walter Landry Memorial Award”, Striped Bass Growers Association, PO Box 1647, Pine Bluff, AR, 71613, faxed to SBGA at 870-850-7902, or e-mailed to sbga@thenaa.net no later than December 1, 2009. Applicants should identify their academic affiliation, supply contact information, and provide a summary (maximum of 4 pages) detailing their research accomplishments.
